Ed Sprinkle Elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame

Ed Sprinkle, who started playing football his senior year of high school at Tuscola, TX in 1939, their first year of football and playing six-man football, has been elected to the Pro-Football Hall of Fame.

Sprinkle went on to be a standout at Hardin Simmons University and for the Navy. He went on to play for the Chicago Bears in the NFL and was dubbed "the meanest man in pro football" playing DE-E-G-LB from 1944-55. He was a 4 time pro-bowler.
