I wanted to let everyone know that the Six-Man Football Writers' Association has been officially established with the State of Texas, the IRS, and has a bank account. We can now begin taking donations for the general operating fund of the association and the scholarship fund in Don Hardin's name (my dad). My family and I will be at the Don Hardin Texas Bowl in Zephyr on July 13th and would love to meet each and every one of you. The association plans to have some kind of donation area setup. As plans are more finalized we will let you know.
The association is a non-profit and any donation to the general fund or the scholarship fund is tax deductible.
Thank you all again for the kind words about my dad on this website. It has given us another insight into the man we loved so much.
