Did DB Cooper Play 6man Football?

This is a little different kind of post but thought I'd share one of the crazy rabbit holes I have went down the last year...I have only shared my info with the man who runs this true crime podcast/youtube channel who I like and he talks about it a little here in the video I will post...but kind of short version of this is:

UFC fighter Chael Sonnen claims he knows who DB Cooper was, a family friend of his parents/aunts/uncles, and Chael has talked about this in several interviews and podcasts of his own and has given details of the mans background in all of them. They went to a small school in rural Oregon in the 1950s/60s and I found that school and went from there.

I heard Chael say in an interview that DB Cooper played "five-man" football I knew instantly he misspoke and was probably talking about 6man football as there has never been five-man football (though it could also be 8man football). After hearing that I couldn’t resist trying to find out who Chael was talking about so I could make the claim "DB Cooper played 6man football." So I pooled together all Chael's details about his suspect and was able to ID the man I believe (Im 95% sure I found his man). Now I doubt the man was DB Cooper, but it was a fun little rabbit hole to go down and I learned some details about 6man football in Oregon. Think I will type of something up on this...the man is dead but Chael refuses to name him out of respect for his family so I am reluctant as well to name the guy even though Im not the one accusing him of a crime, Chael is...idk...listen to this and let me know what yall think...

Ya all the beginning stuff he does there is just background and context for the topic discussion he does...

bottom line the suspect played 6man football and 8man football at Saint Paul, Or in the late 1950s and early 1960s...they were 6man state runners-up in 1959 season

I'm not sure I can answer your question about whether, or not, he played six-man football, but it is pretty interesting that Chael is, supposedly, the only person who knows the guy's real identity. Also pretty odd that nobody has hit him up to try to buy that info from him, unless everyone just assumes he's making it up.

Chael is a world class BSer...but based on all the info and stories he has told about this I believe 100% it is a family story and legend of his...I have IDed his guy Im pretty definitive about that...now I doubt the guy was Cooper and I bet Chael doubts the guy was Cooper but he likes the story and attention and maybe possibility of selling the info. I looked at it more as a challenge to see if I could find out who he was talking about since it had a 6man angle to it
