If the 'Boys keep their heads in it, a blow out could happen. If they do not and have a bunch of silly penalties and mistakes it will be close. I think they will win. I hope they will win.

The Packers didn't show me that they could hang with Dallas in the first half ... you need your offense to put the ball in the part of the field with the diagonal lines (end zone) for six, not kicking for three. The Packers did a pretty decent job on pass defense (TO wasn't a factor catching the ball; he did throw a couple pretty good blocks), but the Pack left the defense on the field way, way too long and the Cowboy offense will kill you eating up the clock and running Barber like he was the bionic man. Good win for the 'Boys.

Barber's running style will most likely mean a short career but with Felix Jones that career might last a little longer. When Bum ran Earl all the time they didn't really have any thing else in Houston.

The Cowboys dont need Barber to have a long career like Emmitt or Tony, just keep up the production he has shown for a couple of years or so. Felix might be the next Tony or Emmitt. Plus the Cowboys might have another Barber (Choice) waiting in the wings.

I understand that but as a person who is a player fan as much as a team fan I like to see players have longer careers. Earl Campbell is barely able to walk due to the hits he took as a player. And as much as I love watching that old footage I cringe everytime he takes as well as gives those punishing hits.

He could have had Pastorini chunking to White Shoes Johnson more, and Earl's blocking back (TIm ???) was no slouch either. IMHO, he ran Earl way too much.

I'm not denying Bum overused Earl but what I remember about Pastorini was he was always getting hurt. Did he have time to stand in there and throw that much.

Barber will never get the number of carries that Earl received. I admit, I wish Felix would get a few more touches, and as the season goes hopefully he will.

Yeah, he seemed to always getting rib injuries. I remember when the commentators were making such a big deal about him wearing a flak jacket. Pre-Earl, he and White Shoes were about all the Oilers had. Then Bum replaced him by getting Kenny Stabler after he should have retired (like Favre now).
