Guy at a bar yells out, "All Dallas Cowboy fans are obnoxious jerks!"
Guy at the other end of the bar stands up and shouts, "I take exception to that!"
First guy says, "Why, are you a Cowboy fan?"
Guy down the bar answers, "No, I'm an obnoxious jerk!"
 
I actually had visions of a Super Bowl this year. I still have visions of it but Dallas is only there because the stadium is there. LOL I am behind Farve now though......would like to see him win another before he fades to darkness.

I made the statement to friends before the game that 99.9% of the world was rooting for Dallas to lose, they wanted Farve to win it.

There is always next year.

If he keeps on playing after this year, that is quite amazing considering he is older than my parents. I would like to see him win another superbowl before he is gone but i just don't want him to end up like Michael Jordan.

Older than your parents?? Damn, I am older than him.....thanks alot tweeter. LOL

Tweet, did you play or are you playing football? I did way back then....we did use a stone for the football though and mastodone tusks were the goal post. LOL When I played my last game I wanted another one and still do. Now put yourself where Farve is. He has already played like 200 years since JH and seems to love the game. Does he want one more game? Looks like he does and he gets it. He is coming off the best year of his career and it may be hard to step down after that.

I was a big Denver fan and still am......a Cowboys fan too, I want both of them in the Super Bowl again. I loved watching Elway play ball, I thought he was great. Her lost several super bowls and I thought to myelf, like most of the world, you are just not good enough John, time to retire. He wanted "one more game" and got it. What happened? Several SB wins. He did retire on a SB win season which I respected, a lot of players might of said, "I can do it again."

Look at ol' Emmit Smith. He had all those great seasons with Dallas. Troy and all the rest were there with him. They retired and Emmit didn't. He ended up getting traded to Arizona because he had become a "has been". He stayed in there for many years and eventually got the rushing record, good for him. Did they win any SBs on the way to that record, no. I remember something about he broke the record and then did not or didn't want to finish the season?? Is my memory faulty?

I am not picking on you Tweeter just using your post as an example to make people go hmmmmmmm. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. What it all really boils down to is I am bored and felt like doing some typing. Side note.....I do not just spout ideas because I am bored, I do say what I feel and believe.

PS If Jordan could still knock out a championship I would love to watch him play again. He was the great of my generation. I am a little young for Larry Bird but still caught the tail end of his career. And I would play that "one more" football game if I could. Just old peoples thoughts. LOL
