Though correct, this is slightly misleading when it comes to the Sterling City/Water Valley rivalry. While Sterling City leads the overall series, Water Valley has beaten them every year since the Eagles came back to sixman football in 2008. Most of the games have been good, tough contests but the WV did 45 them in 2009 and last year. The WV has taken six of eight contests with Robert Lee since the Steers came back to sixman.

You should see the GC/SC record....26-45-2....But the last 14 years, it's a 9-3 GC advantage. For many years in 6/8/11 man, Sterling was a dominant team. Your record with them would be worse if I had the scores from 1983/84/85/90/93/96 in the 11 man years and 1940/44/48/51 from the first 6 man years.
