Congratulations to the CTK Trojans on their victory and district championship! What a GREAT game tonight. Both teams left it out on the field. Neither side could have asked for anything more from their boys tonight. We were both banged up for this game but neither team took that for an excuse and just came out and played hard football. A quick wrap up...CTK is up at the half 30-20. WCS comes out in the second half and just dominates and takes a 40-30 lead with a little over 4 mins left in the game. CTK makes a defensive stand and gets the ball back on downs. They put together their first drive of the half and scores with a little less thah 2 minss left. They kick onside and force a fumble, then take the ball down and scores with about 20 seconds left. We try a couple of desperation plays but its to late. 42-40...what a heart breaker for us but it was a great game between two up and coming programs. Again, congrats to CTK...you guys are one of the best disciplned and fundamental teams we have played all year. You just dont make hardly any mistakes. I know we are not in the same district next year but I hope we get to play you guys again in pre district. I am looking forward to playing you good folks in BB later this year. Good luck in the playoffs. To our guys...we are so proud of you. You played a GREAT game and came up short against a very good team. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Lets get ready to beat Notre Dame and then the playoffs.
