I want to personally congratulate Christway Academy on becoming TAPPS State Champs. I know Coach Hargraves and I'm proud of him and his boys. They worked their tails off all year and showed tremendous heart. Great job!!
Also, congrats to Brenham on a great year!

I also would like to add my congratulations to the Duncanville Christway Chaparrals for an unbelievable season and a state championship. Coach Hargraves - great job. I am a big fan of Sean O'Conner, so to me, you had big shoes to fill. They obviously fit you quite well.

I saw a few games this year and am sorry I was not there to blow my horn for the title game - my last game was the Town East playoff.

The seniors last night were the last group to play with my son before he graduated from Christway and he is busting with pride over in College Station.

I look forward to next year's schedule and watching Christway defend their championship.
