The Chester Yellowjackets are coming off a close game with a win at their Homecoming against High Island, extending their winning streak to 7. The Jackets open district play this Friday at Leverett's Chapel.
The Lions came into Aubry Bradley Stadium last year and stole a game the Jackets intended to win. These kids are looking for a little redemption this year. Our offense is rolling right now and looks better than I've ever seen it before. We do expect to see the scoreboard light up this week. I also expect to see our defense attack more aggressively than they have the last couple of games as well. It may not be as fast a game due to weather expectations this Friday, but it should be a dominating game for the Jackets for their district opener.
