Six-man fan
As coaches, we get sent posters advertising this weekly award. I like the posters themselves but I don't like the fact that the awards are only given to 2A-6A public and private schools.
I replied to an email saying,
"It’s very sad that you exclude 1A football players from this award program.
Our kids deserve to be recognized playing 6-man football just as much as 11-man. They can’t help the fact that they live in small towns, but they show up to work hard every day and play the game that they love.
I hope that in the future 1A student-athletes will have the opportunity to be recognized each week as well."
I doubt that one email will get the job done. So please take the time to respond to them as well.
