Broadcasts for week 15 - Dec 5 & 6

Boys 2 Men

11-man fan
I read on Facebook where the D-II Semifinals game between
#2 ranked Calvert Trojans
vs
#1 Ranked Throckmorton Greyhounds
will be broadcast on http://www.TheTuckerBrownShow.com Friday night starting @ 7:20 p.m.
I expect this to be a great game.

Must see highlight video from the Thanksgiving Day game they broadcasted on http://www.TheTuckerBrownShow.com where Facebook said they had 828 devices tuned in to the broadcast. I wonder how many they had logged on last night for Crowell vs. Ira game?

The Blum vs May Semi-Final Broadcast will air SATURDAY starting at 7:15 PM. The game will begin at 7:30.

You can listen on the web at:

What is the largest known audience for an audio broadcast of a six-man game?
Does anyone know what was online when Fox SSW aired the games online (prior to TV)?

Accurately tracking internet broadcast listener numbers is really tricky, and the way they are tracked isn't very accurate because of the way devices connect. One device can end up showing as several connections and on the flip side, some devices will not register at all depending on how locked down they are. Of course then if you open it up to the radio waves, there is obviously no way to know how many are tuned in. All we have are really rough estimate numbers most of the time and you cant always put a lot of weight on them. The real question (for a different thread) is what are the attendance records for games? Seems to me that number is in the 5000 range?

Thanks for the info. I have heard that you are very tech savvy. I am glad you are broadcasting the May vs. Blum game. I encourage all sixman fans to spread the word to family & friends to get as many fans in the stands as possible & if they can't make it - then encourage them to listen to a broadcast. This is a great sport & this time of year is an opportunity to gain new fans of the sport.

You guys do a good job with your broadcasts. Thanks for bringing it to the air.

I wonder how many they had logged on last night for Crowell vs. Ira game?
According to Facebook they had over 1000 devices logged on. I challenge everyone to spread the word via facebook, text, e-mail, twitter, coffee cans with a string etc., encouraging folks to get to these games and or tune into a broadcast.
