I had always thought that Jayton's transition was the smartest any school had ever done. The only thing I would have changed would ahve been to play a couple of 6 man varsity games in 1983.

They went about it in the right way. However, with Richey, Martinez, Pat Hamilton and a host of others they could have done whatever they wanted to and still been plenty good. First hand info, by the way. Ha
