After tonight that's down to 2.7, 4 shutout's.  Including the top 3 in D1 they're giving up 15 a game.  Not quite as good as last year which was 12 a game for the whole season with 7 shutouts.  Of course they didn't play the top 3 in D1.  But the competiton gets better the last few games of the playoff's.


I guess this years team probably still won't top the one of 1927.  They gave up 5.7 for the season.  With 6 shutouts in their 10 game season.  Weatherford, Stephenville, Bridgeport, Jacksboro, Desedmona (Hog Town), and Fort Worth Diamon Hill - Jarvis.  They did give up 6 to Mineral Wells and 13 to Graham.  As well as 12 to Seymour but won 14-12.  And 26 to Farmersville, they're only loss.  Of course this was before 6 man was invented, in 11 man.
