Rankin ISD is currently accepting applications for a Secondary Social Studies Teacher with assistant girls coaching duties. Coaching Duties could include Sub-varsity Cross Country, Sub-varsity Girls Basketball, Track, Spring Sport (possibly a tennis or golf position - depending on experience).

Our girls program are the reigning 2017-2018 District 10-A Champions in Cross Country, Basketball and Golf - as well as the defending District 10-A champions in Track & Field. We have an excellent opportunity for a driven, team-oriented teacher/coach who wants to put in the time and effort to help develop young leaders and help to continue to push our program to the next level.

Bachelor's Degree with Texas certification in Composite Social Studies (possibly someone with a 4-8 Generalist who is willing to obtain a Composite Social Studies certification). Applicant must currently have a CDL to drive a school bus or be qualified to obtain a CDL to drive a school bus by August 10, 2018.

Rankin ISD is a small 1-A school in West Texas with excellent facilities and competitive compensation (coaching stipend ranges from $6000-$8000 depending on coaching assignment). Rankin ISD pays $8625 above base for teaching, contributes $714.00 per month toward health insurance, has low rent school housing, 5% matching annuity, annual teaching performance bonus of $3,000, annual retention bonus of $2,000.00, $40,000.00 Life Insurance Policy paid for by the district.
