Guess the news keeps getting better for Ole Covington...


After winning 2 games in a season just once in the last decade, the Owls notched their 2nd win in just 3 games, this time upsetting Avalon to earn its first ever win over the Avalon Eagles, 56-47.

This is close but don't know how accurate. I played for him at Lbk CTK.

2005 PD - 0 -10 before he got there
2006 PD - 4-7 made playoffs Tapps
2007 PD - 10 - 3 Tapps State Semi Finals (Lost to Denton Calvary)
2008 PD - 11 - 1 Quaterfinals Tapps (Lost to Temple Central Texas)
2009 PD - 0-10 didn't coach PD team that year
2010 PD - 10-2 Tapps State SemiFinals (Lost to Dallas Tyler Street)
2011 PD - 12-2 Tapps State SemiFinals (Lost to Granbury Happy Hill)

Found this on texas football website. I know he's been in public and private schools coaching.
