Hello Coaches & Athletic Directors,
It seems amazing that it’s been so long since I graduated High School. I went to High School at Patton Springs & Guthrie playing 6-man football.
I had great coaches (Harvey Wellman, Roddy Shipman, Brian White, Mike Norrell) that gave me opportunities, taught me how to grow, and even though I was a hard headed young man always pushed to get the best.
I’ve spent the last 20 years raising a family, growing, working in government, etc.
I’m completing an Alternative Certification Program to become a teacher and a coach. I always wanted to be a coach when I was younger but wasn’t sure about teaching. After working as a substitute teacher, being a football referee, and assistant coaching in Alaska (hs basketball & pop warner) I’ve decided my last career in life is going to be teaching and coaching.
I’ve given back my whole adult life. Army, Law Enforcement, Investigations, & other Government work.
I’m working towards my certification in History, Physical Education, and Health.
I’m hoping to get some advice or an opportunity for the 2025-2026 School Year.
We will be moving back to Texas this summer and I don’t know where yet. (Preferably Lubbock area, Amarillo area, or Abilene area.)
