Alodia Basketball Academy is pleased to announce a new member of to our team. Heidi Burge Horton is a former professional & WNBA star. Heidi is a disciple of Post Guru, Pete Newell and is an incredible teacher of basketball.
At 6'5", Heidi and her twin sister are listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest female identical twins and are the subject of a Disney Movie called Double Teamed.
Alodia will be holding the first offering of Alodia Post University on Oct 10th & 11th at Rosehill Christian School located in Tomball. This will be a 2-Day intensive program designed to get you ready for the upcoming season. The program is open to boys and girls grades 7 through 12.
Alodia Post University is designed to allow you to be a more effective player in the post area of the court. With all of the spread and motion offenses there are many quick post situations created for all players.
ALL players will benefit from this curriculum and learning. At the completion of the program, a player will have a better understanding of:
· Footwork in the Post and Playing Big
· Facing the Basket & How to Pin and Seal
· Defending the Post
· Understanding Spacing in the Post
· Techniques in Getting Your Shot Off
· Plus MUCH, MUCH MORE....
