Congrats to all of the young men who earned these awards.

I know that each year their is a discussion about a kid or two who get left off of these lists, but as I study these each year it begins to be more clear. This is not the All-Region according to the Coaches Association, this is the All-Region team according to a couple of coaches who vote for their kids.
There are 3 district champions who did not have 1 player of the 1st Team: (Alphabetically) Chester 9-0, Forrestburg 7-3, and Lueders-Avoca 4-6.
These guys (I am sure) preach integrity, but do they vote with the same integrity? You are asked to represent your district, not your school. I realize that if the numbers are close you are going to side with your kid, but when that is not the case, do the right thing.
If the shoe was on the other foot, you would want your kid to be represented.
