Abilene Christian University beat West Texas A&M today at Shotwell in the 2nd round of the DII college playoffs (formerly DII). The final score was 93 - 68!!!

They must have been inspired by some 6-man games!!!
 
I know. I was going to post this under... A Six-Man Game Broke out in the NCAA DII Playoffs....

Saw ACU scored on 13 of 14 possessions...
 
ACU tried to score at the end of the game to get 100. As an ASU alum I've watched some pretty classless performances from the christians in Abilene. They have to play WT every year I look forward to their comupenece (sp?)
 
yeah, ACU tried to keep pitching the ball during the last kickoff with 3 seconds left in the game. Their coach said he didn't call that and would deal with the players who did in the lockeroom. Instead of trying to break 100 they should have been focusing on trying to fix their defense, cause they won't go very far in the playoffs giving up 68. I saw these 2 teams play in Canyon the first time, and I have to say that Johnny Knox, ACU's stud receiver, is a badass, as is their qb and rb. They should make some noise if they can keep the other teams score down.
