Did any of you Cowboy fans notice that the Cowboys cut Aaron Glenn this last weekend. He is a backup cornerback that the Cowboys would have had to pay in the neighborhood of 1.5 million. All preseason that is the one position that the sports writers in the Star-Telegram kept claiming that there was no depth. The official word from the Cowboys was that Glenn was getting old and slow.(35) And did not play very well this preseason. There was about 8 teams waiting in line to sign Glenn for the same money the Cowboys would have had to pay. He chose Jacksonville. Somehow I can't help but think that Mr. Jones was trying to save 750 thousand+ in salary and it will probably cost the Cowboys at least one game, maybe several before the season is over.
