I know my vision is no where near as good as it was when I was a young lad.....

BUT......

AM I READING THIS RIGHT.....

Orange Community Christian, from Orange Texas is coming to Spur Texas.......

I guess my question is, IS THIS THE SAME Orange Community Christian IN ORANGE TEXAS NEAR BEAUMONT / LOUISIANA BORDER.....

If so, How did you manage to get them to travel that far Coach

Yes.....Its the same. It must be the Ware Magic!!! Not look forward to the drive but always looking for ways to improve!!

Orange Texas to Spur Texas.....
593.96 miles.......
9 hrs 36 minutes......

Either you have a VERY LOADED 6 on 6 team or you're planning a true vacation to view the ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS VIEWS OF WEST TEXAS....... Mesquite Trees, Dry dirt, rattle snakes, OVERLY LARGE GRASS HOPPERS, and the OH MY GOSH, WEST TEXAS HEAT....
Totally different from the humidity you guys in Orange are familiar with.....

I'm guessing you guys will be staying in Abilene or Lubbock (i'd prefer lubbock over abilene)......

And you'll get to play at Spur, which was the VERY FIRST, Jones Stadium which is where Texas Tech University was going to be... But a shortage of water rights through Spur, they lost the bid to build TTU in Spur Texas and Lubbock texas won out.....

Safe travels......
Dress extremely cool.....

We love West Texas. I am looking forward to meeting and sitting down with Coach Ware and talking about some opportunities in the future. Coach Ware has a wealth of knowledge about six-man. We are always looking for ways to improve as a coaching staff and team.

Coach Hyman,

You are really desperate for 6 man knowledge if your asking me, LOL ......

My #1 advice is, ATTEND THE GORDON COACHES CLINIC (uses
d to be at Richland Springs).

I'll help you out as much as I can with anything, but you're really scraping the bottom of the barrel with my 6 man knowledge.

Get in touch with
Vance Jones (Balmorhea)
Toby Goodwin (Ira)
Joseph O'malley (Petersburg)
Bret Tyler (Valley)
Ken Hoskins (was at Lazbuddie this yr, but did his damage at Whitharral in the 90s)
Mike Reed (Throckmorton)
Trey Ritchie (Borden County)
Jerry Burkhart (Gordon)

As for private schools (GOOD LUCK on this one) that I know who will bend over backwards to help you are:
Larry Uland (private school)
Philip Hudgens (Austin Hill Co.)

If you can get in touch with any of those guys listed above, YOU'LL STRIKE GOLD !!!!!!!!!

I've had the priviledge to get to know these guys and I've stolen/borrowed ALOT from all of them..
Honestly, These guys along with MOST any uil 6 man coach (most private school coaches WON'T share info) will share their knowledge of the game.
THIS IS WHY ITS A GREAT SPORT

Does that include bathroom breaks?

And on a long trip like that do you need to take a woman along so that if you get lost, somebody would at least ask for directions? Which means more bathroom breaks ...

Coach Ware Community's football staff will all be in Gordon. We are looking forward to it. Also we are looking forward to meeting you.
