Week 3 Player of the Week

Xander Ruedas – Gustine – 18-279 yards, 5 touchdowns rushing; 2-2 for 36 yards, 1 touchdown passing; 6 tackles, 1 fumble recovery

Ruedas had a career night against McDade as he accounted for over 300 yards of total offense and had a hand in six touchdowns as Gustine moves to 3-0 on the season winning 64-14.

Honorable Mentions:
Michael Reeves – Crowell – 11 tackles, 1 interception returned 80 yards for a touchdown; 6-12-0 for 124 yards 4 touchdowns passing; 9-49 yards, 1 touchdown rushing; 3-61 yards, 1 touchdown receiving
In a tight game against Aspermont, Reeves played a role in seven Crowell touchdowns including a big 80 yard interception returned for touchdown and throwing for the final three Wildcat touchdowns in their three point win over Aspermont 69-66.

Ethan Parsons – Spur – 25-206 yards, 6 touchdowns rushing; 7-11 for 104 yards passing
Parsons had a huge game on the ground as Spur ran past Motley County 60-28.

Eli Sauer – Highland – 8-186 yards, 5 touchdowns rushing, 1-38 yards receiving; 5 tackles
Sauer averaged 23.25 yards a carry and scored on five of his eight totes as Highland defeated Bronte handily 54-6

Rickey Pendleton – Milford – 10-176 yards, 3 touchdowns rushing; 2-3-0 for 31 yards passing; 1-10 yards receiving; 12 tackles
With Taron Smith out of the game Pendleton stepped up and helped lead Milford past a tough Oakwood team in what is becoming a rivalry game 57-42.

Karson Valentine – Ira – 3 Kick Off Returns for Touchdowns; 12 tackles, 1 interception
This type of Valentine was not the kind of greeting Lueders-Avoca wanted as Karson broke their hearts by returning three kickoffs back for touchdowns and had a big night on defense as well as Ira won 65-20.
