2015 Heart of Texas Coaching Clinic and Camp.

We are doing things a little different this year. We are going to have a skills camp for grades 7-11 grade. We will have some of the best 6 man coaches in the state sharing their great knowledge. The kids will be instructed by each coach learning valuable skills. Each session will be 50 minutes. The drills that will be covered are: Spread back drills, blocking drills, receiver drills, QB playaction drills, spread rush drills, tackle drills, defensive back drills, special team kicking drills.

4:00 - 5:00 Ty Keith- Happy Cowboys (Special Teams Kick off and Kick Off Return)
5:00 - 6:00 Shay Avants- Robert Lee Steers (Tackling drills)

Coaches and Parents this will be an awesome time to have your athlete coached by some of the best coaches in 6 man football. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

UIL rule states that coaches may not coach their own students that attend their school zone. Example: Coach Jones may not instruct students that attend Balmorhea ISD.) If a player from Balmorhea attends the camp he may not particpate in Coach Jones QB playaction session. The student can particpate in the rest of the sessions.)

I would like to say thank you to all of the coaches and athletes who have sent in their registration. This will be our 11th Heart of Texas Coaching Clinic. We are going to have a great turnout. This will be one of our best clinics yet. We have several great coaches who are going to lead athletes through the fundamental drills they do in their practice. If you would like to attend this clinic you can register at Early Longhorn Field in Early Texas this Friday. We look forward to seeing you there. As the well missed "Don Hardin" would say "Good Football to You". We hope to see you there.
