2012 football

It’s always a little depressing the day after. But not to despair, 2012 will be on us before you know it.

District 2-7 had a pretty good year,
Sterling City finished 11-3 winning district, bi-district, regional, q-final titles.
Loraine finished 8-4 with out suffering a mercy rule defeat and going on to win a bi-district crown,
Trent went 8-2, won 7 games via the mercy rule. In almost any other district the gorillas would have been a play off team.
Westbrook's record was 4-6 but that record doesn’t tell the whole story. The team is in the re-building stage and should be much more competitive in 2012.

Since realignment in 2010 the district has a combined record of 67-27 while winning 4 bi-districts, 3 regional, 2 quarter-finals, and a semi-final game.

With lots of sophomores and juniors moving up, this district will be a lot of fun to watch.

Thanks to the coaches and teams of this years teams, look forward to next year and more good football.

Go Eagles, go Dawgs, go Gorillas, and go Wildcats.
