UPDATED 08/04/09

Here's what we're expecting as TAPPS districts this fall ... not predictions, just schools competing. Districts are not formally approved until the TAPPS board receives and accepts contracts from member schools (due September 1). I'll post this under both DI and DII topics.

The TAPPS independents are schools that are TAPPS members but do not compete in districts. Reasons are various, usually that they have enrollments >50 boys and are ineligible for play. Other reasons include new programs that were unable to find a spot in the district schedules, or new members to TAPPS.

John, using your vast array of knowledge, how many teams do you think tapps will seed in the playoffs from D-II? I see there are 20 teams, do you think it will be a 12 or 16 team bracket? Inquiring minds want to know.

I have no idea. Only guess I have is based on last year, they did not take the last place team from each district.

Lifegate, I don't know who to let know but Parkview has a bye this week. No game with McKinney Cornerstone. If I understand correctly they don't even have a team this year. We get two weeks to prepare for Duncanville.
