Bluff Dale is a public school located in Bluff Dale, inside Erath county.
Bluff Dale was originally established in 1867.
Bluff Dale first started playing six-man football in 2018.
Previously known as the Grasshoppers, Bluff Dale had a high school prior to World War II, then switched to K-8 until 2018. The green Bobcat mascot came from a new coach who had previously coached at a school with a green Wildcat mascot (Santo). Since his gear was already green Bobcats gear, the school decided to change the mascot to the Bobcats in Bluff Dale.
