Two things, money or bad press about neglected rural communities can improve things for those rural communities. Which is the tool we can most effectively use? It is sad that small school grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and their children can’t travel to see their family members event...
Lots of ways to better divide the 1A divisions than numbers. Counties with one school for instance. Schools in or near bigger towns. Schools where the natives residents barely ever play. Rich schools. Maybe there should be one Champion. Numbers are hardly the only measurable advantages some...
Most teams have down years. Some have down decades. A lot of that is economic. The jobs leave and so does needed talent. I don’t know about Crowell specifically but a lot of towns loose jobs and their programs don’t perform well.
All I know is The Wesp didn’t seem towant anybody to listen to “The Calm Before The Storm”. “His” disinformation campaign, with multiple accounts and possible hacking expertise, has again hijacked a source of legitimate information. Troubling.🤣
It’s said he/she is MI6 or Mossad running an op to infiltrate the Texas Sixman football community in order to establish sleeper agents among the best athletes in Texas. So, no, you will be trolled for asking. “Negatively”? Well, that’s your choice on how you take the joking.
A big part of life is getting kicked in the head over and over and over but getting up every time and moving forward. We may lose at everything we do in life but still win the ultimate prize. That takes a strength the “champions” can’t imagine very often. In that, we should save our pity for...
Counter offer, recognize my philosophising skills and I’ll give you a lesson on how to poach other people’s deer. I won’t tell you the coach that taught me this skill but I will save you years of buying your own corn.🤣
If the numbers or talent aren’t there it’s impossible to consistently compete. In 2017 Gordon won 2 games. Dedication, talent and good fortune flow like water. They enter a town and even if they pool and make a small lake when that water stops flowing in that lake evaporates too. BTW, I’m...
As long as the youth are taught the fundamentals I think it helps a lot. I see both youth and JH as prep, not somewhere where winning is the most important. That way by HS it’s a short refresher and then on to more advanced things that make winning more possible. It’s difficult in small towns...
Sometimes that’s true for sure. There are so many factors that come into play. It takes a great effort to have a successful program. A consistently successful one isn’t based on fate but a massive amount of sacrifice, dedication and work by a lot of people inside and outside of a school.
