All year Richland has been disrespected on this site . They just keep showing up and winning games. Oglesby will be a tough test , but I think they have the tradition to get it done . Keep ignoring the doubters and playing good football.

I like Richland by 16. In games like this the team with the best defense usually wins and RS has played great defensively all year and totally shut Cherokee down in the 2nd half of the district championship. The coaching advantage goes to Richland as well .

Richlands Head Coach was out with Covid . Starting spreadback got sent to the hospital in the 2nd quarter , and starting running back was ejected 2 plays later . Winners win

Coolidge #14 in D1 , and Cherokee #9 in D2 , Rochelle #8 in D2 in back to back weeks doesn’t exactly make for an easy schedule

Richland scored more points on Lometa than Rochelle did , and gave up far less points

Richland has played the toughest schedule in the district so far with games vs Lometa and Coolidge. Rochelle and Richland both played Lometa , Rochelle won by 11 and Richland 45d them. Cherokee’s best opponent is Menard. Critique Richland for their schedule but give Rochelle and Cherokee a pass? Lol

With 3 teams being in the top 10 this is probably the hardest district in the state . Whoever makes it out of this district has a good shot at getting to AT&T stadium this year . I see Cherokee and Richland meeting up again in round 3 . Coaching and injuries will be the deciding factor
