just a note...all the teams in this district are very competitive, yet no matter what the outcome of thier games, they walk out and congratulate each other after the game and show amazing sportsmanship...this year a young man from zephyr went far beyond that, checking up on a couple of injured...

congrats to lometa and may on making the playoffs! I have to give it up to SA, those boys left thier hearts out on that field this year, unfortunately the injuries that the players sustained in the last 3 games did them in...even so they didnt give up or hand over anything....very proud of those...

when pc cancelled against our varsity, they did call and ask to play our younger players as a jv game, and named off which of our kids they would not play against, thats a fact!, I could care less how many kids your team currenty has....at that time you had enough to field a team, point is pc...

most of the teams around here arent vicious, they arent going to hurt a bunch of younger boys on a team, you see them back off and take it easy if the other team cant handle it. usually makes for a sad victory, but such is life in sixman football!
