104.5 is the 1A-2A cutoff, and it won’t/shouldn’t change this time around (or we would have heard something. Ft. Hancock is under that, so they should be placed in a District. I’m guessing with BV, Rankin, and GC.

I’m saying the THSCA isn’t very good for learning X’s and O’s even for 11man coaches. There is some good stuff on culture and the college coaches speak well, but I don’t remember very many X’s and O’s talk at all. Of course, I haven’t been there in close to 15 years. So it might have changed...

I spent the first 13 years of coaching in 11man...and the last 13 in 6-man. I've learned considerably more at the TSMCA clinic than I ever learned at THSCA (especially X's and O's). The only thing I've ever picked up at THSCA is coaching techniques for track.

Are we talking about Marathon, Valentine, and Dell City co-opting with each other? Or just the closest town? It would be impossible for these schools to co-opt together (check a map). And I think the closest school to each of these are 11man anyway (Alpine and Van Horn), and those aren't short...

Van Horn's junior class is huge (50+), so I think they'll be 11man one more round. After that, I've heard they will be below 100 for a while. Iraan hasn't decided anything...I've heard that they will play 11man one more alignment, but start playing 6-man with sub-varsities.

I stand corrected. I've heard from good source that The Fort turned in 103.

We have turf tank, and its nice. It's not $30K. Ours is $7K per year to lease it.
