Michael Howard is the name I heard. I think Shane Wood is in Booker.

I heard the head of maintenance, who at one time was AD at Follett resigned, but nothing about Coach Gaspar or Coach Hefner.

Prayers for the player, his family, the team and the school.

I believe the coaches name at Follett is Chris Gaspar.

I believe they have hired Coach Gaspar from Throckmorton. Don’t know if he’ll be Head Coach, AD or both.

I saw a picture of a monument dedicated to the 1927 Megargel Bluebird band, supposedly the first high school band in Texas. I don’t know if Bluebirds was the mascot or just the name of the band. The picture was on the Texas Escapes website.

We played them in basketball in the 60’s, but I don’t remember what their mascot was.

I believe that school was closed several years ago.

The two games between Follett and Happy were pretty good. Happy won the regular season game 46-42 and the bi-district game 36-30. Both teams gave it everything they had. .
