With Waco Parkview beating Balch Springs by 18 tonight, District 2 finishes as follows:

Tyler Street- 1st
Christway- 2nd
Longview Trinity- 3rd
Waco Parkview- 4th
Balch Springs- 5th
Heath Fulton -6th

I may be willing to wager that one or two of the 3rd-5th in this district pulls off a first round upset. I will also say that I won't be surprised to see an all District 2 final either. Christway and Tyler Street both are the two most athletic teams I have ever seen in six man.

Sorry to say this, but if their the best teams that you have "ever" seen, then you need to see some of those west texas public schools like Throckmorton, Meadow, Valley, Garden City or even some from central Texas like Richland Springs. Most private schools don't stand a chance against these schools and are lucky to make it past the 1st half.

Let me qualify that statement better...the most athletic teams in PRIVATE six-man football...you're right jc, most privates don't stand a chance against the elite public's...that's a whole other discussion . I did say "athletic" and not "best" as well...there is a big difference

Anyway, good luck to all the playoff teams...this could end up being one of the most exciting years in Div II in quite some time.

11/13 finals ... We're getting a new D2 champion. Who wants it?

Duncanville Christway 65, San Antonio Town East Christian 40
Houston Texas Christian 58, Fredericksburg Heritage 10
El Paso Jesus Chapel 68, Wichita Falls Notre Dame Catholic 66
