Rankin ISD has a staff opening for a Head Girls Basketball Coach. Coaching Duties include Varsity Girls Cross Country, Varsity Girls Basketball, Assistant Girls Track, Spring Sport (possibly a head tennis or golf position - depending on experience).
Our girls are the reigning 2016-2017 District 10-A Champions in Cross Country, Basketball, Track & Field and Golf, and we graduated no one this spring. This is a great situation for the right person who wants to build on an established tradition of success in Rankin.
Certification Requirement: Bachelor's Degree with Texas certification of 4-8 Generalist or EC-12 Physical Education.
Rankin ISD is a small 1-A school in West Texas with excellent facilities and competitive compensation: $8,625 above base for teaching, coaching stipend ranges from $7900-$9750 depending on coaching assignment, district contributes $645.00 per month toward health insurance, low rent school housing is available, 5% matching annuity, annual November teaching performance bonus of $3,000, annual July retention bonus of $2,000.00 (bonuses subject to annual board approval), $40,000.00 Life Insurance Policy paid for by the district.
