I'm gonna have to throw a "No" in on this one.
Yes Jr High can have District Champions but I'd say thats where it ends. Lots of 6man schools aren't fortunate enough to have multiple coaches for their sports programs. Having a Jr High playoff system would mean for those few schools who made the playoffs time taken away from your Varsity team that could possibly be in the playoffs as well. Time that needs to be focused on the players at the Varsity level who have made the playoffs and are looking to make a run to be State Champions.
Guess in my opinion it's better for Jr High to work hard, play hard and learn fundamentals and win a District Championship and call it good. Let them keep striving towards the bigger picture of being on Varsity and hopefully play for a State Title one day where I believe it matters most.
