I understand the “what if” scenario if the D1 champion and the D2 champion haven’t played yet. But when one champion beat the other champion by 30+.. there should be no discussion.

I think Crockett will end up being a linebacker in college. He is a great tackler and tough as nails. I will be anxious to see how much bigger/faster he gets over the offseason. Man, he will not be fun to tackle next year.

McLean will still be very good, mainly because Crockett is back... but they lose 4 HUGE pieces. 3 of the 4 played both ways and very rarely came off the field. They were 3 very physical players that blocked for Crockett all year. The other was the QB that had a great state championship game...

Tackling Ben Crockett is easier said than done. I thought Garden City was in great position to stop him at the line of scrimmage, but he very rarely is taken down at first contact.

It sounded like he was just mouthing. I was listening on the radio, so I didn’t actually witness what happened. He got flagged on 2 separate occasions after the play though.

Aspermont is moving the ball fairly easily right now against Mclean, but they can't even get close to stopping McLean. The onside kick that McLean recovered to start the game is looming large.
