Heck boys, I remember long ago when I was in school the head football coach at Megargel was the maintenance man. The head coach at Woodson is the maintenance man as well. Only good thing that comes from it is the school saves a lot a money, since they aren't a certified teacher. Just my opinion...

Saint Jo should hire a new coach/AD this week or next. Two guys from 1A Region 2, District 7. One candidate from within. Should be an interesting one.

What's going on with Saint Jo? I thought they already had a guy and it would have been a done deal. Guess I was wrong. It will be hard to replace Stevens, great man and coach.

Strawn gets third in district. They won't compete with NC and GB. NC has two studs that they won't stop. GB has probably the best player in the district, probably top 5 player in the state. They won't stop him. Good luck to them though. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

GB take downs SJ 64-50. Sloppy on GB part, but still got a win. Should be a good game in Northside on Thursday vs MC.

They might not be a title contender for D2, but I see some upsets coming... Gold-Burg Bears. Starting off 4-0 and hardly any recognition. We will see this week and the next two. Saint Jo should be a win, then they play Motley and Union Hill at neutral sites. May go 8-0 until they play Newcastle...

But why would you want to keep them there after all that has happened these past few weeks. It really solidifies that program only cares about winning and nothing else. I get that every coach/player wants to win a title. But not like this.

Is it even official that Benjamin hired either one?

Interesting picture in Region 2. MC and Jayton will come out of District 5. Jayton is my pick to win. Benjamin will win District 6. Paducah will take second. Throckmorton will win District 7. Rule will take second. Now, the interesting one, District 8. Strawn, Newcastle, Forestburg, Gold-Burg...

Formation heavy playbook small, or Formation small playbook heavy? Always been one to get good at one or two formations and expand the playbook.

Have not heard anything about Gold Burg, Savoy or Burkeville. Also saw that Harrold was looking for AD.

In the UIL realignment package that was sent out, it says there are few ways you can keep playing down (in 1A sixman) but have to participate in everything else 2A.

Why did Ranger get removed from the list? 102 on Dave Campbells. And what about High Island, turned in 73 on Dave Campbells and does not say they are option to play 2A D2.

Looks like Crowell and Paducah will be dropping to D2. Could change a lot in D1 District 3. TLC-Arlington does not exist anymore. They consolidated, I believe.
