Highly disagree with this statement. The prime example would be White Deer. Their athletic director is the girls basketball coach and their football program has done nothing but succeed in recent years.

I've never heard of a school board asking children for their feelings on a hire or fire.

Well whoever said that the RS job was posted on the Region 15, it isn't anymore. So they either found someone really fast or took the posting off for another reason. (It's also not posted on the school's website either.)
