By and large, it doesn't matter.

My cousin's family had a similar situation. They still really wanted their son to go to senior year. So their son moved to a relative's house in another city. It was good that the relatives didn't say no.

15 is not bad. I've seen 15-year-old guys who resemble 20-year-olds in physique.
