Petersburg Youth Sports Association is again organizing a 6-on-6 Football / Basketball League on Monday nights this spring (4/29, 5/6, 5/13 and 5/20). Schools will be expected to bring both their 6-on-6 football and basketball athletes with a goal of participating in 2 football and 2 basketball...
Actually, I was looking at the rule change from the standpoint that a few schools might be able to stay 6-man for the next re-alignment instead of going to 11-man.
Water Valley somehow turned in a number less than 99.9 to the UIL for this last alignment, but their enrollment appears to still be...
Underdog - Is either the Meadow/Rankin or the Ropes/Naz game starting late? Petersburg plays Friday in New Home and our game starts at 6:00 due to officials. We might could slip over to either Meadow or Ropes for a later game.
Webster's defines donnybrook as "FREE-FOR-ALL, BRAWL". I had to google it...
I agree that the Petersburg/Valley matchup has the potential for a great game!
However, neither team can afford to look past Paducah, Kress and especially Spur. One hiccup and your team could be sitting at home...

Thanks!

AFAIK, the enrollment number reported to the UIL does not involve "attendance" in any...
So, what scenarios might cause a school to report a "fractional" student for enrollment?
I know there is a special formula for a "new" high school, but I can't figure out what might cause an existing school to report a partial student.
