Lakeview Texas in Hall County Near Memphis Texas?

Keeping where we were from to myself. But can honestly say I the only reason I remember is because they had a giant of a player that looked about 25 lol. Anyways my brother cut blocks/tackles him time after time. Needless to say he got ejected. And he was there only solid player.

If i was a coach i would run Smart routes

Coach Satcher it has worked before. I would recommend you try it out if that's what your athletes are looking like. And yes you are correct it forces man coverage but like I said timing is an issue because of a pass rush. It would have to be more devised towards rollouts with one of your WR in...

If i was a coach i would run Smart routes

Hypothetically what if the two defenders were just better athletes overall than yours and can jam your receivers and cover slants/etc. no problem? Also what if a defensive coach figures out your tendencies or should I say the QB's tendencies to throw to certain receivers (aka your limited 6-man...

If i was a coach i would run Smart routes

Well obviously the main issue is pass protection. In 11-man you have 5 guys on the line with potentially 5 WR. That alone creates more route combinations than you can do in 6-man. In 6-man if you go spread, your'e basically limiting 2 of the 5 receivers, running limited routes. A dual-threat...

If i was a coach i would run Smart routes

It's a lot more complicated then just telling your WR to run a smart route. Art Briles has his receivers run potentially 3 "option" routes on one play. It is a lot of read and react but your QB and your WR's have to KNOW which option to take instead of guessing where his players are going.

If i was a coach i would run Smart routes

I think your mistaking the term "smart routes" from your NCAA gaming on your x-box. However I know what you're trying to say. The term "option routes" is more appropriate if u ask me. Option routes IS Wes Welker at TTU. The out route was turned into a double route depending on the coverage and...

    Andre Ross from Calvert

Yes you're correct. He played DE at the JUCO he attended and they ran a 4 man front. In the 3-4 he will play the OLB/DE hybrid position.

    Apologies to Gordon

A thread is ridiculous. I feel for the Burkhart family and at the same time understand the bitterness the citizens of Gordon are feeling. But come on people. The first post in this thread was Coach Burkhart apologizing for his actions. The bible preaches forgiveness. Show some class and...

    Andre Ross from Calvert

Looks like Andre is getting heavily recruited by some Big 12 schools right now. Pretty cool for the 6-man community. Best of luck to him and his future in D1 football.

    Why so political on Tebow?

You can't honestly compare Tebow to Cam and especially RG3. They are much better passers and can put the necessary zip on the ball required in the NFL. The speed of the game in the NFL is the reason it will be hard for Tebow to ever be a consistent, successful quarterback. He doesn't have near...
