I agree with your Conroe pick. They'll have a solid O line and D line. Running back won't be the same as they'll have to find another gymnast to balance the load like last years RB
Brazosport is very confident this season with so many young players returning now with experience
Don't count out...
The AD at brazosport boasts that if they don't win state the next several years it'll be a huge disappointment for them. They are supposedly loaded with talent and several returning young starters. I'm sure Conroe and Baytown will have a lot to say about that but the brazosport QB will be a...
Freddy has a tradition of winning and a good program from what I can see. They run a lot of trick plays too but Baytown has several offensive and defensive weapons and I agree have a monster running game. Should be a great matchup but I give the nod to Baytown on this one
I agree with Cougar -
Seguin by 45
Baytown by 20+
Notre Dame by 42
Grandbury by 45
Should setup a nice show down between Seguin and Baytown for the semi
I too have seen both Baytown and Seguin play. Strength of opponent topic comes up again for Seguin but both teams have been ranked 1 and 2 all season. Seguin is pretty predictable with #18 but Baytown has several athletes which makes them hard to focus on who to stop.
Bearkat it's obvious your opinion is one sided. This was not a game to compare #21 to #6. Easy for #6 to keep composure when he's not getting kicked punched and stepped on after the play by #8 from Conroe who was flagged for it. Calling out a kids character based on one game is ridiculous. I was...
I have to agree with Cougar on that post. #21 for Baytown is a beast. He is complimented by several weapons which makes this team very unpredictable but fun to watch. Not to mention their Special Teams unit is very solid. Their kicker has to be an All-State candidate.
Conroe is pretty one dimensional but stays consistent with a heavy dose of #6. Baytown has numerous weapons and a very solid defense. Preparation is also key so time will tell come Friday night. It's also been labeled TAPPS game of the week.
Not sure who comes up with these spreads and I highly doubt they have actually been to any of the games they are making spreads for. I've seen both these teams play and it will be an exciting game but feel like the spread is way off. Baytown has a very stingy defense accommodated by a powerful...
I saw Baytown play vs Orange and their defense is crazy. Lots of confusing schemes and a very well coached team. I don't see Conroe giving them any trouble
Baytown was bringing the hits and after a few key players went out with injury Tx Christian said they forfeit. They still had several players on the sideline but I think were in fear of getting 45'd and called it quits. Not a good club to schedule games against
UIL schools aren't no joke. As emery Weiner. Better be prepared if you're just trying to get points for playing public schools. I agree though a lot of hype but they didn't live up to it
