Who would be the State Champion of all the State Champions

Just for fun I made a playoff bracket with all the State Champions of this year, and seed them by their final rankings. Here is my try at it. Lets see what you come up with. (This what you do when there is no more six man to go watch)

Round 1

#1 Throckmorton--78
vs
#8 Dallas Academy –28

#4 Stephenville FAITH—68
vs
#5 Life Gate—60

#3 Dallas Covenant--70
vs
#6 Tomball--32

#2 Richland Springs—72
Vs
# 7Azle Christian—38

Round 2

#1 Throckmorton—68
VS
#4 Steph. FAITH—58

#3 Dallas Covenant—72
VS
#2 Richland Springs—70

Round 3

#1 Throckmorton—88
VS
#3 Dallas Covenant—80

2012 State Champion of the State Champions--THROCKMORTON

I would say...

Draw it up however you like it...but put Richland on one side of the bracket and Throckmorton on the other...it is Throck and Richland playing for it all...it would be a good game...who could stop the other more...Throck's D is better I think so I'd say Throck wins by 10-16.

But heck it is hard to pick against RS...

I may be wrong on this, but I think I'm correct.....
I for one know that scrimmages early in the year mean didly-squat.....

BUT.....

Richland Springs put it on Valley and Throckmorton the last two yrs....
Not for sure on the yr but one one of the two, RS put it on T-Rock like 8 scores to 1...

NO DOUBT IN MY MIND that Richland Springs is the SEC of Texas Sixman Football.

THEY ARE A POWER HOUSE, say what you want.... BUT... THEY... KEEP.... ON..... WINNNING.... STATE.... TITLES.....

I'm sure they'd still win, but I'd like to see RS play this schedule....
week 0 - Throckmorton in HICO
week 1 - vs. IRA
week 2 - AT Valley (tough place to play)
week 3 - vs. Dallas The Covenant
week 4 - OPEN
week 5 - Borden County
Week 6-10 District Opponents

So,
come next realignment.....
If this schedule got done, I'm traveling TO ALL OF THE RS games (pre-season that is)

I'd be a COYOTE........ Arrrroooooo, Arrarrarrrooooooo (sound of the coyote)

We played them both and the players I spoke with believe it would be the Hounds. I agree, but it would be close. :)

Dallas Covenant already beat Throckmorton so you can throw them out of the mix, so it would probably come down between Richland Springs and Covenant. I would have to pick RS in a close one.

Reed used the Covenant game as a scrimmanesque, a preseason warmup idea in order to get as many looks as possible. I've been told by coaches unattached to Throck' that he had several eventual starters on the sideline several times throughout the game, especially on defense...which may account for the score. Reed is unorthodox (: crazy :) like that early in the season. Most wizards are.... (:

If you're going to disqualify a team for a loss then Covenant's loss to Abbott knocks them from consideration, and RS is the only remaining choice.

Here's a top five list of the best based on who we played this year, with Amherst and Groom barely missing:
1. Throckmorton
2. Valley
3. Richland Springs
4. Grandfalls and Crowell
5. Motley and Meadow

We hope to add Water Valley and Covenant to next year's lineup ): Or maybe I'm dillusional from a condition known as Gottmibuttkikditis. (:
