Whiteface vs Gordon

Just being honest. WF has a strong team. No doubt. The best team under today's circumstances is going on to play Gordon. My guess is the refs will call a clean game and that's going to hurt WF. There was a lot of laundry left in their pockets tonight during major turning points in the game. It won't go down that way in either team favor at Texas Stadium. Sorry just being honest. Seems like the WF boys took their chance and push the buttons under duress and it turned out in their favor.

Pretty sure there should have been a grounding call that would have stopped a WV scoring drive. Two blocks in the back on scoring plays, laundry was left in pockets that benefited WV as well

LMAO….I tried to tell you on the game thread not to start that crap. Almost every team every year that wins a State Championship overcomes bad calls and injuries. It is part of the game of football. You overcome or you don’t and both teams usually deal with bad calls and missed calls. Hey, I would have loved to see WV make it to AT&T State Championship also but it didn’t happen. WV will be back, they have a good program that has made tremendous progress over the years, and being placed in 11 man last 2 years hurt some I suspect. But they made all aware that they are back by making it to the semi-final round. Truly awesome and something for the players, coaches, student body, community and fans to be extremely proud of. Maybe you should have taken some time to let the loss soak in. But as others have said, being on here butthurt, making excuses, and complaining ain’t helping. If anything you’re hurting the school you cheer for.

Dude come on! I was there and whiteface had more penalties that water valley I would bet on it. That’s like saying if we don’t put the ball on the ground 6 times against you guys when we were up then we would have beat yall. None of that matters I thought what hurt water valley was #5 being hurt and flat lack of tackling at times. It is what it is you guys had a great year and will be competitive again next year. Don’t need to ruin that by non sense.

I don’t think they match up well at all. Whiteface appears to be a run first and run last offense. I watched Gordon and Abbott had some success running hard up the middle and several times hitting an outside gap and cutting to sideline. But as far as getting the corner Gordon contains to well and turns everyone back to the middle. Extremely good defense. Now Whiteface being a run run run team with Kaufman I believe he will initially have some success but when Gordon adjust and stack the middle to stop it does Whiteface have an alternative? Spread? Passing game? Abbott had a run game and passing game and seemed balanced and what happened to them. I’m thinking a one dimensional Whiteface team is going to be in serious trouble.
You guys crack me up. 5 getting hurt didn't help. It's just really hard to watch these kids grow and put so much effort into this run and end up in a loss. I wish there was a way the refs could make every call right and not miss one. But that will never happen. I was very disappointed seeing it like this at this level of play.
WF is going to have to bring a clean game to the table on the 18th. I still say Gordon 45s them at halftime.

It's so hard to match two teams up but I think you have some good points for sure. I just hope it's competitive
If Jayton and Gordon both 45 their opponents by half they should go ahead and play the last 4 quarters against each other .

Gordon didn’t 45 Abbott, but I know it was close and I think the whiteface team is more put together so I think it will go all 4 quarters and be a game. Coach linman is a genius so they will find a way to score every time
Good luck with that. They are a totally different beast. We have had the privilege of playing them the last two years and them boys know how to play football!
Actually we have played them the last 3 years. The freshman team was good but the so. and jr. team is over the top
Well fencelineguy from Westbrook paid the refs off in our loss at state I’m not sure exactly how much but I hear all the refs have since retired and living on a beach in Mexico. So at least it won’t be that crew at this years state games. Lol.
