Westboro Baptist Church coming to Savannah

I would not recommend that your local population offer anything but their warmest welcome to these folks as they enter your community. I would not recommend having some very big, mean, motorcycle gang type gentlemen from your community to provide an escort for these fine Christian role models while they spend some time visiting your community. I would not recommend the use of various caustic additives to their gasoline tanks, such as sugar or water. I would not recommend having nails and tacks deposited in or near the tires of their vehicles. I would not recommend that various law enforcement groups, tow trucks and other service providers delay their response to these visitors trying to rectify various situations which I have not recommended.

I do recommend that your community show its support to the grieving in your community and allow them to have the peace and dignity they sorely deserve at this time.

Someone should picket their funerals (Westboro Baptist Church members, that is), yelling and screaming and being a nuisance with signs that say "God think's WBC members are idiots!" Maybe that would hit home, since nothing else seems to work.

Most of the Westboro folks are made up of the founder's kids. All of them, including the founder are lawyers (the founder has been disbarred). All of their money comes from suing anyone who inconveniences them.

Real Christians these folks are.

Looks like everyone minded their manners here in Savannah this past weekend, Westboro Baptist came, held up some signs at the major high schools and large churches, could not pick any fights, got no press and was last seen heading west on I-16 ... woo... woo...
