Glad to see my old neighbor's Gordon win.
I laughed out loud about the comment on the scores only page about the busted water line delaying the game until tomorrow. Not funny for all involved I'm sure but I've never heard of anything like it. My initial reaction was a picture of the Coaches being told why their game was being delayed a day. "Whaaaattt!!!".
Aquilla 26, Covington 12. Makes for a Happy Cowboy. Maybe not a Happy, Texas Cowboy. But a Happy Cowboy Parks.
I guess Rochelle is missing Flores and co.? Injuries?

I'm bummed myself. I slept wrong or something and woke up with a back ache that isn't going away.
Guess I'm going to wimp out on trying to sit on an aluminum bleacher for several hours this afternoon in Hico.
The really sad part is I should have been out mowing this morning but that ain't happening today either.
Glad the games are being streamed. At least I can lay flat on my back in the floor and listen.
Might take a muscle relaxer but they make me sleepy.
A nip or two of Goob's everkleer might help but that's something I don't like to do in mid afternoon.

Gold-Burg Bears lead at half-time 31-30 vs Benjamin finishing the half with 5 players. The Bears playing with 5 and at times with 4 the second half to finally losing 82-52. What an effort Bears!

Gold-Burg played a great game. They could have folded at half but they would not let Benjamin starters get the 45 point lead. The boys were tired put never quit even when the cramps started in the 4th quarter.

What about Veribest taking care of Rochelle like they did!! Underdog by 45 and flipped the script on 'em!! I'm not saying the Falcons are ready to go to state but it's good to see them improving like that.

Not directly related to topic but I did hear today that the field in Zephyr had some small wires coming up through the turf causing some injuries. If true I would think the installer of the turf could be liable.........

About time the east learns how to play ball. Where have they been for the past 6 some odd years? Also in the YouTube video did Aquilla ever play anyone that year bc it looks like trash to me.

Check out Paducahs' schedule for 2004-2005 , did they actually play anyone? I know they lost to Richland Springs one of those years, and Aquilla beat Calvert one of those years,, so who's trashy? Why do you think RS is recruiting, maybe cause they win??? Never got over that high school frustration , did you?

Do you ever think before you speak? This 2016 is the first year Paducah has ever played Richland and if you look Paducah lost to Valley by 1 or 2 who eventually went to state to lose to RS which there is still alot of controversy about that game here in cottle county. I have nothing to be frustrated with I'm out of high school and what happened when I played is over you seem to be the one with some kind of mental frustration. Also as far as RS you tell me how you go from can't pay to win a game to racking wins and state titles year after year if this was college ball some one would be investigated. But my hats off to those boys they sure can play some ball.
