Water Valley vs. Midland Trinity

WV Backer

Six-man pro
The WV goes on the road again to take on it's second highly ranked privateer in a row this week in the Midland Trinity Chargers. The Chargers lead the all time series 3-1 and won 45-0 the last time the two hooked up back in 2007. Personally I have no love for a couple of the Chargers jackhole fans and I'd love to see the Wildcats return the 45-0 favor but it's not about me, it's about the Wildcats playing a good, injury-free game without looking ahead to the Borden County matchup. Here's hoping the WV takes care of business in Midland in a workmanlike manner and comes home safely to prepare for BC.

This will not even be a game. WV by 45+. Both Rankin and Grady handled them with ease. Now WV vs BC will get lots of hype and well deserved.

I appreciate your confidence in the Wildcats, ryry. I've just learned the hard way to never underestimate anyone in sixman football. I also learned last year that inflamatory remarks made by those that support (or supposedly support) the same team as you make for good fodder here on the message board. I try not to make any statements that could possibly used as bulletin board material by the opposing team or as justification for some yahoo to scream "I TOLD YOU SO" here on the board.

As far as Borden County goes, I expect a hard fought struggle against a team that is consistently excellent. They're like Valley, T-Rock, Meadow, Rankin and Richland Springs - year in and year out they are contenders. I'm sure I left someone out of that list so let the haters hate.

I sure understand Backer. Your setting yourself up for failure when gloating for your supporting team. We have seen it time and time again. You just never know what can happen on Friday night.

I often wonder what happened to those couple cats from last year your referring too. They sure riled everyone up, but I'm sure you don't miss them much Backer. I know there was one that claimed to be supporting the same team I do and I know I don't miss him.

I only hope that they - in the words of Mike Tyson - "faded into bolivion." Unfortunately, I doubt that they have. They're probably just waiting around for a chance to stir things up.

Come on now fellers.... ever heard of letting sleeping dogs lie? sshhhhhhhhh!!! let'm sleep.... zzzzz.......

Word of caution to all that will be making the trip to Midland this Friday. Hwy 158 has gotten a bit dangerous with all the oilfield traffic.... heavy equipment haulers, tanker trucks, rig movers, pulling units, service trucks, etc.... everybody is in a hurry and don't think much about passing you with oncoming traffic in plain site. Keep an eye out for debris as well. I've also passed as many as 6 black and whites between Midland and Sterling City trying to control the chaos!

It might be safer for the buses and fans to just go on up to Big Springs then on over to Midland Its about 10 miles futher...Fortyfive is right that road is BAD ....travel safe wildcat fans

i heard midland is flooded!!!! it dont take alot of rain for that to happen there though. here in Big Spring we have had 6.1 inches since this time yesterday!!!! but 20 miles north and 20 miles south it plays out from what i've gathered from farmers.
