Based upon what I've seen thus far this year, Water Valley should handle the Bulldogs in Eden fairly well. You never know what will happen but that's what I think. anybody have a different view of the outcome?
Same opinion here Backer..... after coming off that slugfest with Borden County (with no major injuries thank goodness).... I'm looking forward to travelling over to Bulldog country to resharpen our claws! Would be great if the WV young guns can get some much needed play time on offense and defense! They've done a great job on special teams in my opinion!
Also hoping we can get a game for the 19th... but doubtful we'll get any takers.
LeeMac had mentioned that Ira is open on the 19th too. Man, wouldn't that be a hell of a game! Might be biting off more than the WV can chew but it would certainly be a good gauge for figuring out just how good the Wildcats are. A Friday night of chasing those Morris boys around might not be in the cards though.
Ira isn't open. They have a bye week. Big diference between the 2. UIL only allows 10 regular season games and give 11 weeks to play them. So a bye week is required if you play week 0. WV is open because Midland Trinity cancelled, which counts as your required bye week, so the original bye week can now be scheduled to get your tenth game. Hope yall find someone to play, it will be tough.
Wildcats will have no problem handling the Bulldogs...Just depends on how much playing time Coach York is going to give his young guns!
Just my lowly opinion...
Good job last night Wildcats! Young guns looked really good too.... flying to the ball on D and putting up some points! It's looking like we have another week off, but keep practicing hard and stay sharp in preparation to finish strong in district play!
