Entire Robert Lee skedule cancelled due to PC (and I don't done mean Panther Creek). All them teams on thur skedule wuz worried ESP&N wud done be offended and never do anuther up close and personal feature on sixman...

In further developments, ESPN ordered Sports Broadcaster Robert Lee, an Asian American, to change his name or be banned from broadcasting on ESPN forever. The PC Culture Club praised ESPN for its' pro-active steps to eliminate racism from the sports media. Hillary Clinton's Resistance Movement also applauded ESPN's courage and said .....Bla bla Bla, Bla bla Bla, Bla bla Bla, ...............

'Where and When will it End"?

to be honest, I am not sure of anyone outside of ESPN agrees that removing an Asian-American named Robert Lee from a broadcast was a good idea...

and ESPN is a known conservative entity for the most part.

I know sarcasm runs rampant on this site, but I'll ask anyway, you're kidding , right?

Since ESPN, Movie Stars, Democrats and so many other leftist - liberal famatics are utterly and absolutely adamant about being against ANYTHING remotely connected to the past,
I have an announcement:
Please send me all of your U.S. Currency in denominations of $ 1, $ 5, $ 20, $ 50, and $ 100's as former slave owners are depicted on the front of said currency.

I promise to dispose of this foul, filthy lucre so that the SNOWFLAKES never have to be exposed to it again!

????

Not the last couple of years at least. Unless you define conservative as slightly to the right of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Gramsci...

I would agree with the OBK in that ESPN has become more and more liberal as the years have passed. Used to be you could get straight-up sports without any tinge of politics (right or left) but not so much anymore. Perhaps it's a product of where the headquarters is (Bristol, Connecticut).

more liberal since the days of Olbermann?

I'd also like to know where the majority have landed on this specific topic of the announcer? The first few posts made it sound like some PC stance that liberals were all behind.

I have yet to see anyone think this was a good idea to remove this guy. I think most people (liberals and conservatives) agree this this was a hair-brained idea by ESPN

I don't keep up with ESPN though I appreciate them sometimes. What Asian-American commentator are you talking about? Might someone provide a link? If a person knows the intricacies of a sport their heritage, skin color, or religion should not affect their ability to comment on it.

best part is he says he was named after Robert Redford.

just a dumb, dumb move by ESPN. BUT, my conspiracy theory mind thinks this is on purpose and they will now switch him back. So then people who would've never watched the game will... #ratings!

ESPN a conservative network? Didn't they give an Arthur Ashe Courage Award to a man for wearing a dress and calling himself a woman who lives in California. They were doing that there when I was a teenager over 50 years ago. Definitely did not deserve for Excellence in Sports performance award.
There was a petition on social media to change The name of Midland Lee High School.

What's next? Change the name of Fort Davis and the Davis Mountains.
This PC stuff is becoming fecal matter of a male of the bovine species.
