Thinking about catching a 6-man football game.

I haven't seen a six-man game in a few years. I went to Hico in 2011, last time I've been to a six-man game. The schedule in the North Texas area is not all that great next week. I was thinking about heading to St. Jo to watch the Panthers take on Harrold. Is this going to be a game worth going to, or will it be over at halftime? Thanks!

Don't know how far you are willing to drive, but the Grandfalls / Water Vally game in McCamey saturday night is going to be a heck of a game.

And Robert Lee's field doesn't look like dirt at all. It looks really nice! Money well spent! How many individual seats is on the home side? Get there early Cowboy for one of the good seats.

I don't sit in the stands. I like to hang out on the sidelines.

The home side seats right at 500 in the two middle sections (seats with backs and cup holders), the other two sections will seat around 750, for a total of about 1250 give or take a few.

Well Granger needs to change his map then...because he has the game at 8pm Sat in Grandfalls

That's 'cause whoever entered the game didn't note the neutral site. And the lesson is, before you drive four hours to a game, call and CONFIRM when and where it is. Things change and except for my wise and astute observations, nothing is 100% sure. And in that case (my wise and astute observations), that's 100% wrong. Just ask my wife.

I went by Robert Lee's new stadium. Very impressive. When I officiated there, the lines were always crooked and the field was so domed, you couldnt see but the waist up of the official across from you. But now, lots of seating for the guests which was always an issue. The new fake grass field i beautiful. I do hope lots of people set on the Wyoming side and show them a great Texas sixman welcome. Wont be there myself because wife obligated me to other things that evening. Dont mess with the wife. Aint worth it!

Go to Robert Lee on Friday, and then go to one of the Super Saturday towns and get your fill. There are premeir matches at all of the locations.

texashelmetproject: We would love to have you at the game Friday. Last year was a close game won in the last 2 minutes. Stop by and introduce yourself if you make the game.

Well, the wife and I are headed to a crowded field game tomorrow night. She's a teacher, so we are going to go watch her students play. I probably will see St. Jo play this year. It's about a 30 minute drive for me and I have a relative working there.
