Who do y'all think has the most important rivalry that has the most thrill and excitement?

Ropes/Meadow of course, and I know these next two are the best 4 teams but they are a pretty good rivalry. Dell City/Sierra Blanca; New Home/Wilson. Some pretty intense games.

Aquilla/Abbott is one of the biggest rivalries in this area.

Highland v Blackwell...the battle for Nolan County

A 4 year span does not a rivalry make...agreed....a 50 yr span however does. Highland is 31-19 in their matchups with ira...making 50 total. Nobody ever got excited for blackwell when i was at highland...but when it came time for ira there was always a buzz in the air...

Plus highland and ira have been up for the most part over the past ten yrs making for some great matchups....blackwell unfortunately hasnt been as lucky...

sure the last 10 years it has been one sided, but in the bigger picture, historically and geographically and with all the dovetailing story lines with former players and coaches from each school from the 50s through the 90s...highland v blackwell has that...highland v ira does not

Blackwell/ HIghland all time is 21-34-2. That seems like a pretty good rivalry to me. What about Blackwell/Paint Rock- 20-19-1.

And if you throw out the last 10 years...which highland has dominated causing some of the kids there to loose a historical perspective of the rivalry (like coach g here) the highland blackwell match up was pretty even.

Ira / Highland is still a good rivalry. Ira / Hermleigh is a good one too, battle for Scurry County. Both are far from the best in Sixman though but still lots of history between those teams. I would think 60+ years of games constitutes a good rivalry in my opinion. There is still heavy emotions when Ira plays both of those teams every year. If I'm not mistaking, Ira has not lost a regular season (or home game) since the loss to Highland in 08', something like 45-47 consecutive regular season / home game wins I think (don't quote me on that).

Gordon / Strawn and Ropes / Meadow are the ones that come to mind when you say the "best" rivalry.
